WE had breakfast only once and it was an excellent spread. Mainly because my husband is a total vegetarian that we opted out on other days. However, there was enough for him as well. The staff in the kitchen downstairs and the staff at the Bar were very helpful especially the Chef whose name i forget went out of the way to prepare food for us whenever we asked for his help. Very nice guy. The food prepared downstairs is very yummy. Enjoyed sitting in the deck and the surrounding view gave immense pleasure for relaxing with a nice Cocktail in hand!

I vacationed at the hotel in February 2025, with friends, and we were all very happy with our stay. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. I had requested a room with a view, on a higher floor, and they were able to accommodate this - the room had amazing views of the beach, and the surrounding hills. Since our flight was early, they even allowed us an early check-in. The tapas restaurant is also excellently located with views of the beach, and the food is decently priced. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Penang, and will definitely book again if I visit Penang again.

Great facility and location. Wonderful staff. Comfortable room. Front desk staff especially helpful and Maitre'd in dining room (Nov. 15th) was great. Seafood buffet is amazing!! A superb meal at that price.

Also, Hompton By The Beach Penang in Malaysia was a delightful experience, and I am thrilled to share my extremely positive review of this hotel. In my honest opinion, this should be ranked number #1! What truly stands out is the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Thanks for special environment, warm hospitality and the beautiful sea view. I am especially thankful to Mr. Ridzuan from the reception department for his outstanding assistance. He went above and beyond to provide us with the best possible service, distinguishing himself among all his colleagues. I will never forget his warm welcome, which made me feel as I stay in my own home not in a foreign place, and this is the ultimate goal of all hotels. He truly deserves to be recognized as the best employee.

Its by the beach. The hotel deck on the 1st floor where one can have a drink or meet friends. The room is big & comfortable. The floor has no carpet which I thought is good idea for a hotel located by the beach. Checking in & out was quick & easy.

Smart hotel, with large suite and beautiful views in our case certainly. Located between central George Town and Batu Ferengghi, but either accessed by bus or the ever reliable, quick and cheap Grab taxis. Brilliant Lotus mall and supermarket a ten minute walk away - really good street food market hall directly opposite.

Wonderful views of the city and sea, with easy access to local food street restaurants and a scenic beachside walk. The staff was very accommodating, even allowing us to check in an hour early. The room was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. While it’s a bit pricier than other hotels in Penang, it’s definitely worth the cost.
